About Us

Grace 'n' Glory Christian Academy was founded in 1975 as an educational ministry of the Bible Baptist Church of New Franklin, MO. The mission of the school is to train young people in an Christian environment, educating them not only in academics but in God's Truths as found in His Word, The Holy Bible. God's Word is our final authority in faith and practice, and through His Word the school seeks to educate young people and bring them to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, and then grow in Him. The school is an extension of the Church's ministry, fulfilling the Lord's command to preach and teach until He returns (Matthew 26:19). The school adds a rigorous academic curriculum so that the student "may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." (II Timothy 3:17)

The pastor of the Bible Baptist Church at the founding of Grace 'n' Glory Christian Academy, Clay McNeese Jr., stated in the Principal's Message of the 1977-78 Yearbook;

" The very beginning of the Grace 'n' Glory Christian Academy was an act of pure faith. We read in Proverbs 22:6, 'Train up a child in the way he should go...' We believed it, accepted the command in it, and knew that God would help us do what we should do. We then set out to obey the command of God. Many times God has done exceedingly above what we thought or asked."

Many people believed the Lord and sacrificed to start the school and keep it open for over 30 years. Through their faith many young people have attended Grace 'n' Glory. Many of our graduates go into full-time Christian service, while others go into secular work. Our graduates have successfully completed college and majored in fields such as Bible, Education, Business, Computer Science, Biology, Horticulture, and Law.

Statement of Faith

The Holy Bible is the final authority for all belief and practice. This is a summary of our beliefs. We believe in:

  • The inspiration of the Bible, equally in all of its parts and without error in its origin. We believe God has preserved His Word for all eternity.
  • The one God, eternally existant Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who created man by a direct, immediate act.
  • The pre-existance, incarnation, virgin birth, sinless life of Jesus Christ. We also believe in his miracles, substituionary death, bodily resurrection, ascension to Heaven, and His imminent return, the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • The fall of man due to his willful sin, the need of regeneration by the operation of the Holy Spirit on the basis of grace alone by faith in the work of Jesus Christ.
  • We believe in the resurrection of all: The saved to eternal life with the Lord Jesus Christ, the lost to eternal damnation in the Lake of Fire.
  • The spiritual relationship of all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ living a life of righteous works, seperated from the world. witnessing of his saving grace through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
  • The protection of human life, which begins at conception, is only to ended by God or by lawful authority invested in government. Life is to be preserved and not destroyed.
  • The sanctity of marriage as set forth and institued by God: one man and one woman, for one lifetime. We believe the homosexual and lesbian lifestyles are contrary to God's commandment as set out in the Bible, and is unnatural, unhealthy, and ungodly. We believe that pre-marital sexual activity is destructive and contrary to God's Word.

Curriculum

We are extremely satisfied with Accelerated Christian Education curriculum. This curriculum is constantly being updated to keep up with the changing world we live in. The A.C.E. curriculum is being used in over 7000 schools around the world. By its continued use and commitment to quality, we are confident that our students will receive a quality education.

A.C.E. curriculum was not only chosen for its educational value, but also for its spiritual value. God and His Word are interwoven through each PACE that is issued to a student. Since we believe in the omniscience (all-knowledge) of God, we believe that it is imperative that we include Him in education.

We do read and memorize Bible verses, and have prayer. We also say pledges to the American flag, Christian flag, and the Bible. We have a daily devotion time and a weekly chapel service. There are also opportunities for Christian service in various ministries of Bible Baptist Church. One such ministry is Teen Visitation, held Wednesday afternoons after school dismisses.

More information about admissions and academics can be found in their own sections on the website. We also have a school handbook which explains in greater detail the rules and policies of the school.
